"Lucinda, the magnificent voice from Bliss, has made a delightful albums of very well chosen songs. After the pop extravaganza on "You" I have expected perhaps another glossy album, but this is in fact a very low key, sparsely arranged work, that reminds me of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' haunting "Raising Sand". Lucinda is a very technically proficient vocalist, great range, timbre, dynamics. But above that she has the knack to connect directly to the listeners heart, obviously singing from a deep spiritual space in herself.
There is a beautiful version of Aimee Mann's "Wise Up" (from "Magnolia"), bringing the hidden spirituality in Aimee's delicious gloom to the front. A brimming take on Sting's "Fields of Gold" and an absolutely stunning an tearjerking "Song of Bernadette". There is also a fine cover of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed", where producer, arranger (and multiinstrumentalist) Marcus Cliffe plays some fine James Jamerson influenced bass-lines. Another gem from Lucinda, and though I wouldn't like to see the millstone of fame and stardom around her (pretty) neck, I sure could wish her a broader audience.
She is really up there with the best female vocalists in rock, pop, country. And on top of that she spreads deep feelings of the Beyond and all-embracing Love."

" Your beautiful, ethereal music played as everyone "entered" the room - it was incredible, the love and peace and stillness filled the room and tears of joy flowed from many an eye!

"I just wanted to send you an email to say thank you for such a fantastic evening on Saturday. I came to see you play live, just fantastic! I have paid a lot of money to see Robbie Williams, Madonna, Cher, Michael Jackson and a whole host of other performers and they simply pale into insignificance against Bliss;s performance on Saturday night. I so wanted to clap and leap out of my chair after the first song but I think like the rest of the audience I was stunned into silence! It was a magical evening."

"I just wanted to write you an email to say... well actually there are no true words really it is emotions and feelings, the feeling just before you cry, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up, a warm smile, an emotional surge from your heart and stomach...and that is usually what I experience when I listen to just track one from A hundred Thousand Angels! I keep reordering On Thousand Angels as I give them to friends. This is the most beautiful music I have ever heard and it moves my soul like no other. Thank you. I love you. "
